Default Couple of SOHC turbo questions

For my setup I am using a Garrett t3 from a saab. It has a internal wastegate on it. What PSI is that thing set at? I plan to run about 5 or 6 psi. If it's set higher than that, what must I do to adjust?

Can I add the nitrous express n-tercooler to my turbo system? I am running on stock internals so not sure if it will handle or not.

Once system has been put on, what things, to be broad, must I watch out for? Somewhere along the lines i've run across a list of things you should keep your eye on. Of course, engine temperature, oil leaks...etc but there were things such as exhaust color and things such as that. Let me know what are good things to watch for

Thanks

NOS and turbo, would blow that d-series in half :P Not a good idea if its not built.

How much boost? well their are about 7 different turbos from Saab, and I am sure some are the same, and some are different, some of the newer ones are solinoid controlled. Most saab turbos I have seen are around 7-8psi. So you will not be able to lower it anything more with that (even with a boost controller) you would have to find another wastegate that is set lower, or modify your existing one.

I would like to run 6 psi...sounds like a safe number for stock internals. the turbo i have is a 42/48. Now if I cant use the internal wastegate on the turbo, can it be removed and a external be used instead? Ive heard of some brands of exhasut manifolds that will allow room for ac and have room for an external wastegate on it, in that case, it fixes all my problems lol.

yup, you can do that, you will need to weld the wastegate o2 flapper shut, and it will be fine.

ummmm.... what does it matter if you are runing the n-tercooler thing its not like its injecting it in the motor, isnt it jsut like a fogger spray to cool the intercooler that doesnt do jack squat to it?

Lol, I have this little problem called, (I dont read the posts very throughly) and blow right through them, I appoligize, but yes you can use the "nitrous express n-tercooler system" In fact I was just reading about those the other day, they look pretty nice.

Show me a link to this? I've read of this in a magazine but haven't seen it for sale anywhere or anything passed it.

Is this where you run a shot through or around your intercooler so it drops the temperature by like 27 degrees not only feeding more oxygen into the intake, but also making more power after shot is over? (frosting over the intercooler?)

Or am I just completely lost as usual!
