Time for update on the v8 turbo got the intercooler piped in an btm installed an carb dial in almost perfect.
Dyno results made 234 hp an 360 ftlbs torque. Its a lil less than what i thought but i guess 7.1 comp ratio an only 283 ci plays a part in it.Does all this from 1800 to 3100 rpms at 11 psi an falling of to 8 psi of boost. The wideband 02 was almost prefect from idle to full boost at 5000. Time for more cubes.Gonna 1/8 drag it tommorrow to get a real idea what it does on the street.Ill Keep you all updated

7.1:1 compression ratio? Install EFI and wind the boost to about 35psi

well efi would cost another 700 to 1000 dollars to do it right.I have the carbed dial in just as good as efi an i have a btm so i can back off timing with boost.Uping the compression to 9.1 got some aluminum heads gonna put on there an gonna swap out the sloppy/oil leaking t3 for a god tight t4.Tuned the carb with the wide band.goes lean at idle due to carb is not four coener idle.Got new carb just need to swap it on an i will put the new turbo an heads on at that time....

So i guess i need have my own web hosting cuz i dont see my pics here anymore.Think i am gonna swap out the 76cc heads for the aluminum 58cc i got this weekend.I need more power out of the hole an the 7.1 compression just aint doing it.Think 9.5 will be good enough with the solid roller cam to wake it up the motor an then boost it a lil.....I got some good video but no hosting site so im looking to do that very soon.

I know how that feels. My 267 had 8.3 Cr and it wasn't doing any thing untill I hit 2000 Rpm. First gear to 65 Mph
Second gear (if it shifted) dunno...road to short. And then NO BRAKES..... Close encounters of the worst kind.
Let's see what my 305 roller will do if i can find a car to fit it in. I'll be sure to check the brakes properly before i testdrive again.

Pj.
