Jeff Evans flys in, gets off the plane, comes straight to the dyno. We start making dyno pulls, car runs like crap.
car is running on our stage 2 kit 60-1. 270 whp at 18 psi, what the hell?!?!?! Rip engine apart, swap cams, swap head gasket, swap cams, swap cam gears, adjust cam gears, swap cams
Put car back on dyno. Same thing, no power. Rip engine apart, swap cams, swap head gasket, swap cams, swap cam gears, adjust cam gears, swap cams.
Get car back on dyno. Car makes no power. We did not sleep for 3 days
We got really pissed, then put a different turbo on. Our off the shelf T3/T4E from a stage 1 kit.
Put car back on dyno with the new turbo, instant power

30 psi (yes on STOCK D-SERIES SLEEVES) --> 460 whp, and a FAT powerband

thats exactly whats wronge with my set up, i tried everything.. i was planing on rippin my motor apart too...
yeah my spark plugs are gapped at around there, i was gapping them between there while playign with them while tunning

i think your problem is your turbo... it'll build boost just not power. try a smaller sized turbo. big isn't always better. i found that information off full-race.org with there project hatch for the show pinks.

yeah i probably wont run this until i have my pistons/rods in, so i can up the boost safely..
im going to look for a smaller t3/t4 turbo now..
my car should be safe running this turbo though right? i mean i barely ever rev up since its not really boosted, i just need to save up and for the time being... sinnce i have no other car, and i need this to commute.im probably going to keep this turbo, since my goals were to built ls turbo..
my next question is, would this be harmful to my motor? i mean its tuned, idles perfectly, no CEL and drive fine.
im going to look for a smaller t3/t4 turbo now..

yeah... well i did retune it again, and again
still the same, im trying to keep it at 8psi
this weekend, my friend is letting me borrow his turbo
which is a garrett .50 trim t3/t4 turbo brand new, since he is piecing up a kit.
same downpipe bolts and etc... so ill have u guys updated and let you know how it goes
