check ignition and cam timing for starters. I'm assuming it idles nicely, thereby eliminating the possiblity of a bad injector, plug, wire, etc? What are you tuning with?

Re: car is boosted, but not moving at all under 8psi HELPPP
im running uberdata rigth now, im currently at 8psi with the sc61 until i get a 2bar map sensor. its not my clutch for sure, because its fairly new. about 5k's miles on it, with the 6-puk clutch. im going to play around with it later on today when i get home from school.
btw its on stock timing, 0-3lbs of boost we didnt retard it at all. 3-6lbs by 9, and 6-8 by 9 degrees on a very conservative tune. i forgot exactly what he did, but im sure its in that range.

You problem is that you have too much turbo and not enough engine. Not enough boost being run from said turbo in the first place I should say. The PTE SC60 is nothing more than a Garrett 60-1:
http://www.precisionturbo.net/turboc...tegory_id=3026
They are rebuilt using TO4E or TO4B wheels. An example would be the SCM-4431E which has a 2.295" exducer and a 2.290" inducer giving it a 60 trim. Conveniently, that is the same size TO4E 60 trim.
The SCM-6027E has a 3.000" exducer and a 2.320" inducer. How convenient is it that the 60-1 has a 3.000" exducer and a 2.320" inducer as well?
Also interesting to note is that PTE uses a T3 stage 2 and 3 in their turbos.
2.122" minor 2.559" major for the T3 stage 2 and 2.229" minor and 2.559" major for the Stage 3. Both turbines are smaller than the standard T4 turbine or the O through Q trim.
Point is, 8 psi isn't ---- on one of those turbos. If you know how to plot your VE on a map, do it and you'll likely find that you're barely on the island for most of your RPM range. You'll likely find that at 8 psi you're in between the surge line and the lowest efficiency of the left hand side of the map.
What you need is more boost or else you're simply wasting a turbo:
8 psi is barely a 1.6 Pr and you're barely into what that turbo is capable of.

oic... yeah im going down to home depot to make me a manual boost controller and hopefully set it at 12 and see if there is a difference. i cant do 14 just yet because i dont have a 2/3bar map sensor just yet. ill let you guys know how it goes. thanks for your replys it makes more sence now
