I'm interested in relevant RING GAP suggestions please. (for the lazy ***** = d16z6 75mm ball honed perfection)

I've only looked in the KB catalog under suggested gap/in of bore for street/strip forced induction so far.

Have ring file ready for this week's HRN.

Pistons got rings and dropped into the bores and all the rotating assembly is now tightened up as of last night

Checking Ring gap... came out to .018" top and .022" second out of the box seemed more than big enough. (.0065/in and .0075/in resp.)

The infinite spellabilites of the asian market....haha coating gives you increased strenghth's I think it also suggests for max perf. that the pistons be kept to low RPMs

Pretty sure you are supposed to put the arrows towards the flywheel side as the suzuki motors rotate the opposite of the honda motors, double check though nig.

The one caveat I have to that is that with the kinda ptw clearance you get with vitara's I don't know if it will actually make a difference.

hmmm dirty African sack licker!!!

why isn't the whole world obvious.

quick search shows mixed results so FJT.... you have a PM and others are welcome to throw down your opinion only if you matter tho.

See here the STD 000000 text is on the oposite side to mine inidicating the arrows if i could see them would prob point to the fly

a d-series.org build shows the arrows clearly same as mine.

EDIT: ok shitt did some more reading... and it seems like a good idea for the the valve reliefs and pin offset to be as close to stock as possible (haha) especially with the piston at almost 0 deck.

Anyone have any dimensional info RE the pin offset in the two pistons?

I'll likely end up reistalling them if tis the right thing to do.
