Make sure you check your main clearance. After going through 3 blocks I found out that apparently the mains like to get a lil larger than they should be. Just something to look at befor you build the motors rip it and spin a main bearing.

Is there any other way? That ---- is E-Cred if I ever saw any. When the ricers start talking smak about me blowing up the LS and how I got my car "built" at a shop. I lay down those rod bearing change pics. Instant E-Cred

If you mean the single deep groove in the front/rear seal areas, that's supposed to be there. That's where the lowest/biggest part of the seals are supposed to touch. Get it right, or get oil on your clutch - ask me how I found out :1

Drag strip rebuilds aren't bad as long as you know everythings in good working order and within spec. I had my motor built just to make sure I can safely rev the hell outta it without having to "rebuild" it a couple times. The sad part about your built motor is that you had it built to be bullet proof but your dump *** found out the hard way it wasn't water proof. Hopefully you and the OP have learned from your mistakes and have better luck this round.
