Thats some amazing ingenuity man. I think You should be very impressed with that setup. I think anytime you can make something this far out work its well worth the effort. To say you made a Volvo head fit a Ford 2.3 thats some damn good bragging rights on its own.

Im also anxious to see this running,

I almost bought an XR4ti about 11 years ago as my first car. I could'nt get the money at that time. Ive liked those cars for a long time.
I remember an article in European car with one with a Cosworth engine swap in L.A. had like 500 hp I was amazed back then by it.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised - I do have this tendency to post my pictures on every forum I join. And that's a lot...

Yeah, these things are awesome... I'm not a big fan of Ford, but I've gotta hand it to 'em on the Sierra chassis... they really hit the nail on the head. Even 25 years after being released, these thing are still modified like modern cars... solid things, they are. If you put one up on a hoist and check out the underside, you would hardly be able to tell it's not a 3-series BMW, too. RWD, semi-trailing IRS, apparently the damn fuel filter is even in the same location.

Aaaaanyway, I loves me these cars.
