Your setup is amazing man, quick question for you. How soon are you spooling up your hx35? I can make 17psi at 4300-4500 on a stock head with mine. Thanks

My tune is fucked, so it's not really relevant... but I was seeing 10 psi (where my wastegate opened) at 3200 rpm.

how much trouble have you had with megasquirt? I'm going to install it in my car as soon a the snowmobile racing season is over.

The only trouble I really had was when I did the ignition mod wrong on the V2.2 board. I used the wrong resistor or something - it said to use a 1.2k Ω resistor and I used a 1.0k Ω instead... "That'll be close enough." It wasn't.

I still haven't really done any tuning... but I've helped to tune a 2.3T Ranger with Megasquirt. It's pretty straightforward with a target AFR table and the analyzer built into the log viewer program.

Thanks, I havnt been able to get a straight answer from anyone else. Everyone seems like they want to keep info about megasquirt and megatune a secret.

The guys on msefi.com are pretty helpful, but they all seem to be pretty experienced computer guys, so they usually skip the basics. Pretty easy to get confused over there.

It seemed like people were being really secretive about this head swap a few years ago, so I started posting all the information I had.
