ok, so with regards to the romulator (before I go and buy a burner), what exactly are you running for your setup?

the romulator comes with basic software, do you have something that interfaces with it? did you write your own software? will turboedit at some point be able to interface with the romulator?

I've written TurboEDIT to interface directly with the ROMulator. No additional software or hardware is required.

When you start a RTP session, you click Tools -> Real Time Programmer then it will look for your ROMulator (or check to see if your PGMFI board is connected, but this isn't a real option yet) and connect to it.

A small window called the RTP Monitor which will just let you see the communication between the RTP device and TurboEDIT. You can minimize this window if you want.

From there you just tune TurboEDIT as per usual. All changes are made seamlessly, and the ROMulator or RTP board is updated in real-time, and changes the cars attributes... in real time. No need to turn the car on and off, burn and reburn.

When you're done tuning, close the RTP Monitor window which will disconnect your RTP session. After that, save your ROM, burn it to a EEPROM and your real-time tune is now permanently stores and ready to pop into your car.

Re:TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.0 Beta

ok, I'm going to prepare myself for a verbal lashing here.

I want to start attempting to modify p28 or p06 code in turboedit. I have a bunch of stock bins, and none of them open in normal mode in turboedit.

what I'm asking for is any or all of the following:
1)point me to an effective guide for memory locations in roms. I used this one http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/locations.html and it didn't quite work for the obd1.
2)link me to an effective how-to on disassembling, editing, and assembling both obd0 and obd1 code. I know you want to tell me to read pgmfi.org but I literally spend hours looking through, getting lost, and coming out with three folders full of things I don't remember downloading.
(I will spend today reading 8052.com, but let me know anyway)
3)give me some sort of brain transplant that makes me know all of this so I don't have to bother anyone else and can finally start helping others.

main objective: download stock roms, modify them to accept boost code, open in turboedit and alter fuel/ignition etc

Re:TurboEDIT Support (OBD0) - Current Verison: 2.0 Beta

I have not, and won't, enabled OBD1 in TurboEDIT for "the public". It's entirely too much work to keep up with the ever changing code of two completely different generations. With that said, OBD1 support *is* in TurboEDIT2.0. If you ever stumble upon how to enable it (which I will not tell anyone, so no one e-mail me) you can use it just fine.

Now, to answer the question "why is it there but not enabled?", because I have local friends who use it, and thier demands are not too great on me. Getting e-mails from 100 people a month asking questions about TE is just too time consuming to add another generation, I'm sorry. Use Uberdata ( http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata ). Blake's software owns your OBD1 tuning needs.

Now, warric, to explicitly address your points:
1) http://pgmfi.org/phorum/list.php?f=13 They're in there, you'll find them. (Hint: Look for excel ------sheet attachments. ;) )

2) http://pgmfi.org/phorum/read.php?f=41&i=82&t=71 (Doesn't get much more spoon fed than that.)

3) Paypal jparker@driftkids.com $12.95 + $10 flat rate shipping. :D
