I just run the new TE from your page. It will not map trace for me. I have asked several times for help listing all that I have tried. So either it doesn't work or all you ******** that have it working are not willing to lend a hand. Will it map trace at idle? Will it map trace off stock voltage from the O2? Its too late now anyway because I just finished soldering in the OBDI plugs.

The version of TurboEdit that I put for download in the first post of the TE sticky thread has the version of TE I know work with the Ostrich FLAWLESSLY and also has DATALOGGING built-in with a working MAP trace and all...

Delete every plug-in or version of ECU control you have, install that version of TurboEdit and have fun...flawless tuning fun

The problem is you not saying anything until now. I'll give it a shot, report back.

Hey CS, are you just soldering the obd1 plugs onto your obd0 car or are you making a conversion harness?

I am in the process of making the harness using Kurts conversion write-up and am finding that some wires don't really match up so I'm going strictly by the plug cavities.

Also I did DL TE from the Sticky and had problems getting it to work, maybe it's because I don't have an Ostrich........I really want one though because logging
saving
running in the house
analyzing
burning a new chip
putting back in the car
and doing it all over again is getting very old.

I bought a conversion harness, an OBDI distro and soldered on the OBDI ecu plugs. I chipped a P06 and its running right now.

Too late now! I just used your crome bin to fire up my car with the OBDI stuff. Ran mint. No I didin't drive on it. Yes I know it has no ignition retard. Idle is nice. I tried to add a .65 per pound retard on your map and it won't burn after I save it. Just gives me a solid CEL. I will try again tomorrow.
