i think a trained honda tech would know that bleeding off pressure from the map sensor and then trying to run the AFC hack would cause bad results.. maybe they just dont train honda techs about the importance of MAP output

hey mr. wizard do you have any clue how many boosted hondas we see at the dealershop NONE!!!!! and i was under the impression that a honda map sensor could only see vacuum not positive pressure.

How can chipping ur ecu be more dangerous than AFC hack, you do know that an AFC hack majorly advances your timing like previoulsy mentioned? Chipping an ecu is much safer, if you know what youre doing.

I know that a lot of people are running andh have run the AFC hack succesfully for years, but from experience Turboedit and Uber owns it..I did both and am ont turboedit right now...The AFC hack advances timing in the region of 2-5 psi, something like that...timing goes up the 40 degree advanced...nothing can lower it enough to compensate for it. After 11 psi it's just using the last setting on the afc....like when you go to 15 psi...I could also go the 15 psi with the AFC hack, but my neighbour couldn't.....it depends on setup and maybe the map sensor.
If you want it tuned right I would go Uberdata..you can hook up a 1-3 or it was 3.5 bar map sensor and know how much fuel it's getting and set the timing right. It's close to a standalone in tuning perspective....now that RTP is available

the stock MAP Sensor maxes out around 12-13psi.

dude I can't believe you were messing with your timing and your SAFC settings and the whole time you were hacking with a missing link. That's classic. Glad you got it all worked out though.

i guess thts because of their lack of support for some ECUs. the last time i checked, their boost tools wasnt meant to work on a p06 or a p28.
