im looking to buy a turbo for my car,d16y8. i have a .48 .60 t3/t4b on it right now and it spools to fast, im a hwy top end fan and this turbo has no top end, im gonna add a zex stage 2 cam to it, love fab mani, 3 inch dp, 550 inj, jrc intercooler, neptune tuned by stoopid, and the turbo i have right now is toast anyways, i want a turbo that will hit full boost (15 psi, what im running right now) like at 5k. and have serious top end power, im planning on bulding the engine but not for like another 6-8 months. i like the 60-1 .63 - .70 s cover but my friend thinks its to big for right now. now the .63 .70 b cover i think would be nice too... i just dont know what the trim does, will it make me spool faster if the trim # is lower or higher what are the hp ratings on these turbos. im looking to buy today or asap my turbo is smoking like cheech marin, so i need to make a change asap... any help would be nice... email me at miguel.badiola@grandecom.net

You sure you didnt mean blow the differential pin out of it, that is common. Were you spinning the tires a lot? When that pin goes, the whole tranny basically destructs, blowing holes in anything it its path, including the block sometimes.
