whats the compression on the vitarias are they forged

 

Compression ratio varies depending on head and Headgasket used.

Y8 Head with Y8 2 layer HG --->8.9:1

Y7/Z6 head with stock HG ---> 8.5:1 (with y8 2 layer HG 8.7:1)

A6 head with stock HG ---> 8.0:1

The pistons are not forged. They are made of much more stronger cast than regular pistons(AC8 grade) plus they are T-6 heat treated and coated for additional strenght. They have produced so far up to 442whp and 323lbs/ft on d16 engines.
