***Basemap won't work need expert help***
Everytime I burn a map and put it in my civic (d16z6) the check engine light comes on. I check to see what code it's throwing but it isn't showing any codes (no blinking). What's weird is that when I disconnect the jumper to the base map the check engine light goes away. So I thought it was the ecu but I put in my po5 vtec converted and chipped ecu and it does the same thing. I've burnt basemaps on cromepro and uberdata but the same thing happens. Another thing I found wierd was that there's a buzzing noise comming from the black thing behind the throttle body (near the butterfly) when I connect the basemap to the ecu. Then when I take the jumper to the basemap out it goes away. This is my second setup and I haven't run into this problem before. Please... anyone who's run into the same problem or knows what's going on help a fellow HMT member out thanks.
When I run into these problems, I like to start off with a massive sensor disable base map hahahah
Disable every last sensor in CROME and see if it works. If it does, start adding them back in one by one.
Also, on your CROME map, did you disable the checksum?
The buzzing sounds like its coming from your IACV, and w/ key on that should be normal IIRC.

Setup:
-d16z6 (stock)
-t3/t4
-460cc injectors w/ 10 ohm resistors
-7psi
-2.5 charge pipes
-intercooled
-chipped ecu
Don't know how to post up bin so I'll e-mail it to anyone who's willing to help thanks.
everytime i get the "buzzing form the black thing" and a solid CEL it is usually a bad burn. what burner are you using and has your ecu had a chip in it since it has been chipped without throwing a CEL and buzzing?

I sodered that peice back in but still same issue. When I burn I ussually get error codes like: error at 0x000000 Chip = 0xFF buffer = 0xED or
0x000000 Chip = 0xFF buffer = 0xE2 Don't know what these mean. I erased the chip moved/removed the jumper to burn and still i get that. After like the 5th or 6th try it'll let me burn a map. I tried disableing all my sensors on crome but i still get a solid cel.
