I say you're way too ------- rich at idle...

I just compared to a stock PM6 ROM made for 240cc injectors, and you're pulsing the same durations at idle that it does. Meaning, you're flowing about 39-40% more fuel than you should.

Here are your pulse durations at 700 & 800 rpms, between 22 and 17inHg with 450cc injectors
2.36 2.60 2.87 3.13
2.44 2.65 2.83 3.10

Here are a stock PM6 (SOHC 1.6l non-VTEC) on 240cc injectors at 700 & 800 rpms, between 22 and 18inHg
2.45 2.98 3.52 4.08
2.52 3.04 3.58 4.08

..and good thing it didn't run it, because your vacuum map ends up leaning out up top. Couple that with fuel efficiency routine calculating boost from your vacuum map, and guess what? This ROM is at least 4 milliseconds lean on the at 10psi..

I do'nt know if this is a case of misusing Rory's convertor or the convertor itself sucking *****, but learn to make a map on your own, until an official TurboEDIT plugin is written. ------sheets are the enemy.

Let me know what motor you have in there, and I'll make a basemap using my method. We'll see how that runs.

If it runs decently, I'll get it into a TurboEDIT plugin for everyone.

Anyway.. post what motor you have and what map sensor you're using, and which turbo you're using.

well just in case you might be interested thats my new Basemap i made myself.

I will be more then willing to test out your basemap and let everyone know how good it worked out.

I think the whole "sucking *****" thing is just about right.

------sheets are fine as long as you know exactly what they're doing and why. They become dangerous when you just blindly dump numbers in, not knowing roughly what you should expect as an output.

I deleted the threads on pgmfi that contained my (or variants of my) converter sheet. They suck. Sorry. If you still need to convert maps, figure out how and why they do what they do and make your own for personal use. If you're having trouble understanding them, IM me and I'll do my best to explain them to you. I much prefer sharing books to holding out spoons.

Or just wait for the official TE plug-in. :P

pardon my ignorance but how do you check the pulse duratoins on TE?

i made a basemap without the ------sheets and when i burned it on the Chip the car would do what you guys described, it died right after i turned it on without a cEl.

i then just copy and pastd my old basemap to NG55 and it ran fine, not only that it boosted past 10 psi.

how can i upload my bin on here?
