i am a new member, and i was wondering if anyone could help me out with what i gotta do to get a homemade turbo for my CRX. i need parts and a estimated price of what everything would cost me. i would also like some info on how to put it together. this info may already be on the site, and this may be a stupid question, but i just couldnt find the exact info on the site. i have a B16a1 in a 90' CRX. Well what most of us do here is piece together turbo kits. Look through our turbo projects pages and at the end is a parts list. It will give you an idea of things you will need. Also read the FAQ.

Since you have a B-series engine, it will be a bit more complex, since you will need a bit bigger turbo than most, a custom manifold and a good fuel management system to control your setup.

Just keep reading through the site, and if you have a "Specific" question go ahead and ask.

Nobody is going to tell you the exact figure.. I could say 800 bucks for everything and you would say "HOW?!?! WHERE ?!!?" We all have our different sources, and our own skills. You will need to get in contact with someone that does custom fabrication, because welding will be neccasary in your project. I could say $4000 and you would be "THAT IS WAY TO MUCH" it really depends on what type of kit you want to build, with what type of parts.

We are here to help, but you need to do some research yourself, and not ask typical newb questions or shortyz will be all over your ***.

i was hoping that someone here already did a turbo setup to a b16a1 in a CRX. and i was hoping that someone would be able to help me out (in general), but i guess i would have to get knee deep, before i could ask questions huh?

i just wanted to know how reliable it was, because i dont have much $$, i i wanted to know how difficult it was. i mean i NEVER EVER did a motor swap in my life, bu i have messed around with alot of knick knack stuff. i was just afraid, that if i went through with i might get stuck with a problem, and NEVER have the car running again...
