ZC 16 DOHC rebuild kit?

I'm a newb... I recently got a fairly rust free 89 Si. The motor shows 200 Psi on all cylinders..

Long story short I also got a ZC16 DOHC with a spun rod bearing for $50!

I am building the car for the GRM $2008 challenge..

Just wondering where to get a bearing kit for the motor....yes it will bea home made turbo setup. MX6 IHI turbo.

Make sure you get the correct size bearings, especially if you get machine work done. Go to honda stealership or check out multiple places online autohausaz.com, etc.

you need a mans turbo not a boys turbo

I need it to spool up fast for autocross...

Yeah a big turbo will suck ***** at the auto-cross portion. But too small will restrict it in the 1/4 mile. Maybe a big one will look nicer for the show portion? lol

For me it's all about whats cheap and bolts in with ease. I did a fiero with a Northstar V8 converison and I hate wiring with a passion.

What else is good that fits the EF chassis? (good= cheap) I have Koni's coilovers , sparco seat , gutted , ST rear bar , poly bushings. I have $700 in the build thus far and another $1300 to go for engine turbo and wheels... Already got a 1/2 rad too. I want the most HP for the least amount of money.

At one point we were even thinking of putting a Accord V6 drivetrain in the back seat. Too much BS thou

just a dirty d, i think that would be all you need and one hell of a good tune. turbo it with forged internals, filled block, etc. and be on your way. gonna need one hell of a clutch thats for sure.
