Default Weird temp sensor in back of block?

Well, i've been stripping down my b18a1 block and swapping various mounts and brackets and crap over to my b16a block, when i came across what looks like some sort of temp sensor. Ordinarily i wouldn't have given it a second thought, but i happened to notice that it sits directly in an oil return in the block. After checking the b16 block i saw that that block didn't have this sensor. Right next to the temp sensor is the temp switch for the radiator fan (i think that's what it is), so I'm kinda stumped as to what that sensor's for. Is it possible that an integra had an oil temp gauge or does the ecu read oil temp for some odd reason?

the one right above the oil filter is oil pressure sensor.
the one ABOVE the oil pressure sensor is a knock sensor.

b18a1 doesnt have knock.

or do you mean its on the b16 and not the b18. the b18a1 had the water temp sensor on the back of the block instead of being on the thermostat housing.

That's just it...i thought it was a water temp sensor at first...at least that's the plug i had on it, but after i had the head off and looked down the oil galley, the sensor sat in the oil galley. That's what's confusing me. I have 3 sensors total on the back of the b18a1 block...1 for the oil pressure gauge, 1 that sits in the oil galley, and another that actually sits in the coolant jacket. The one in the coolant jacket is huge, and doesn't have a normal plug on it, only 2 long prongs coming off the back that get 2 individual wires hooked onto it.

Yeah, but i also have a water temp sensor in the head as well :P And if that's the case, how come the b16a doesn't have the same setup? It's an obd-0 block as well. And like i said before, i think that's for the fan switch. Still doesn't explain the oil temp one...

Well, i know about the oil cooler (obviously...i have the block sitting there with in on still), but here...pics to show you what i mean...
This is the LS block...
The empty hole in the middle of all of them is where my oil T was for my turbo and gauge...

And this is the b16a block...
Notice the big plug where the one sensor with the green end from the LS block was? That's the sensor i'm talking about...it sits right into the oil return from the head.
