Default weird case of blue smoke.....very weird.

hi,

I'm completely stunned by the fact that my 1990 crx zc is smoking like hell.
The story is like this...my car has been standing still for about 3 weeks since my alternater wasn't right and i didn't have the time to fix it.
Oke, so i just fixed it and since im going to sell my car i changed some parts and got some ---- out of the engine bay.

what i did was:
- I changed the alternater.
- I took out my wideband and placed back the narrowband o2 sensor.
- I reconnected my catchcan.
- I removed a sandwich adapter with oil temp and press sensor.
- I removed my goldeneagle vaccuum manifold and reconnected the catchcan as said before.
- also removed some electronics like my fingerprint car alarm.

Oke, so i took it for a spin and i noticed that it the revs were going up and down again as i had when i bought the car. Also....it is SMOKING like hell. oil smoke. And when i mean smoke i mean thick massive clouds of smoke. My car NEVER ever smoked before. what the ---- happend ...... anyone an idea ?

now when you disconnected your vacuum manifold, and you now have an idling problem, sounds like classic vaccum leak somewhere, or improperly connected vaccum hose, cracked hose, etc, check them all out carefully, make sure you have them connected correctly. as far as the blue smoke, sounds like your catch can is the cause of that, vaccum applied to the catch can, will draw vapour and oil droplets up the hoses and into the intake stream, do you have a pcv valve connected into the system? sounds like maybe you don't
