ok here is the scoop, im finally getting off my lazy *** and putting my b16a1 into my 90 civic dx hatch..heres the details......

DPFI
non vtec

b16a1
converted to obd1
MPFI
vtec

ok, so heres my question, i want to put my p30 ecu in and run vtec and mpfi with my b16a1, what all do i need to do, can i just buy a conversion harness? someone please help me out who has done this before, and if you dont want to post....my aim is blondyelcivic .thanks!

 

buy the conversion harnness to save your life. then follow the instructions on the adapter. I just did one its pretty staright forward

 

know of anywhere that sells a good one? was it xenocron that was selling them?

 

www.boomslang.com also sells harnesses. Do you have the conversion harness for the distributor? The plugs are different from obd1-obd0. Make sure you have ur O2 wires hooked into the right locations....if someone wants to post a pic of the ECU pinout that be awesome. Im not on my compujter so I dont have all my pics..

 

so what about the plugs from the motor harness to car harness (i think its 3 on the passenger side and 2 or 3 on the drivers side).....they are different? true or false.....

ahhhhhh, i know im going to ---- this up somehow by not converting or plugging some ---- in.......someone tell me its worth it......
