b16a1 into 93 civic need help asap
Does anyone know if I can put an OBD0 B16 into my OBD1 civic ex. I've already bought the motor and pr3 ecu and can't find a conversion harness for this anywhere. If it can be done what has to be modified or where can i get this harness or do I even need a harness. I need info on the distributer, what plug wires, cap, rotor, ect.. and also i'm going turbo so i'm changing to 450cc dsm injectors any info on that would be appreciated.

i would say search www.honda-tech.com or http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/index.html
both very useful. and a conversion harness is out there.

the only obd1 components that you have to run are the injectors and dizzy. you can use the injectors off your d series out of the car, but you'll need an obd1 b series distributor (vtec and nonvtec are the same). everything else should plug right up. you don't need any conversion harness. and for plugs and plug wires just pick some up for a 00 si since it has a b16. as far as 450's, they'll plug right in to your obd1 harness, you just have to cut out that little 'key' tab on the inside of the injector where the harness plugs in. you'll need to wire in resistors or a resistor box.

I was actually thinking of picking up a OBD0 b16 since you can get them quite abit cheaper than the obd1 engines and just swap the injectors and dizzy over from the OBD1 engines. How much psi can a B16 over a say D16z6? My y7 handled 12 psi every once and a while for a couple of weeks but mostly 8 psi on everyday driving.
