super weird spark problem after mpfi swap
so I did the mpfi swap. car ran fine before. Now no spark.
I figure igniter or coil, switch with the dx's, nothing. swap with the dizzy out of my car, nothing. threw a crank angle code. switched the blue wires. switched the white wires, ecu, cleaned up ground and battery posts and terminals. battery fully charged. dizzys getting 12 volts. The wiring at the ecu is good org/ at b10 white at b12.
I'm stumped!!!!!!!!! anybody ever have a weird spark problem
I really didn't do anything that would effect it. I put a vtec motor in but as fas as the mpfi swap I didn't touch any thing. I mean you just put c1 and 2 in b 10 and 12 and the run wires from c1 and 2 to the blue wires on the dizzy......... I just started my car with my dizzy yesterday.

I had some of the wiring mixed up and its not throwing any codes, but still nothing.
The wiring is good, new dizzy ( I'm going to put it back in my car tomorrow, but I know its good, it doesn't make sense that it would all of a sudden go out), 12v to the dizzy. could it posibly be the ignition?

wow sounds like you are playing a guessing game with your mpfi swap, which is no good.. which can lead to more problems... but you should know hondas are notorious for burning distributors. check your fuses, grounds.. did you hookup the injectors correctly also ?
I went back and double checked my wiring with fourth genhatch's write up. and all my wiring is good now, no codes. The distributor is good. works perfect in my car. cleaned up all the grounds all the fuses in the engine bay are good.
I still need to run the 2 and 4 injector to the ecu, but I'm checking for spark with the spark plug out of the motor and connecting it to a wire (ground it on shock tower) and looking to see if it sparks.

WOW!!! I think it was because the headlight/lighter fuse was blown....go figure. I did some other ---- too like switch to a OEM pos. bat. cable, clean the dizzy connectors, tighten the igniter wires terminals, removed a few wires on the engine fuse box that were used for a stero and alarm thats not being used anymore (but it ran fine with that ---- before). so I'm sure it was the fuse...
