Lots of clicks, but no starter engage sounds like grounds. (Thermostat ground, VC ground, and one of the main grounds on the tranny), also check batt -ground.

When you go key-on, can you hear the pump prime followed by the CEL turning off?

well ya i can hear the pump and ----, but now my cars freaken, i changed my starter but now when i try to start it the whole dash like flickers and ---- clicks inside and it seems like the bat is dead but the tack was jumping and ---- lol, its hella weird. im too tired to work on it anymore im gona sleep and figure ---- out tomorow. all grounds are hooed up, now when i find out why its acting all weird ill see if the starter works, the new one and check my battery, it lost some acid out of it and i filled it up, but im thinken it might be a bad bat gnd or power wire. ill check it out tomorow. but man this pisses me off 2 weeks since ive driven the thing. i hate this ----. anyone else have thoughts?

I go with that as well, always check out the easy ---- first. My battery was dead, and the car would do something similar to what you're describing. Wouldn't turn over, would click alot, etc. To me, that's a sign of a really, really dead battery. So much so that I was driving around with a fullsize battery and booster cables in my trunk so I could start the car.

Certainly a good place to start, sometimes the problem is an easy fix.... but you usually find that out after you have destroyed your car in looking for a solution
