Default Sometimes Solid Cel, sometimes not... Round 2!

OK,
so before in a previous thread I wrote about a problem i was having where i would get a solid cel sometimes, and an actual code other times. The code I was getting was for VTEC solenoid(21). I then did some troubleshooting of the Vtec system, Ie; I hooked up a test light to the solenoid wire from the ecu, there was power at the vtec crossover point. Next, I applied 12V to the solenoid itself. I heard it click. This wasn't too surprising considering I could hear the VTec engaging. Oh yeah, this is all on a Ls/Vtec setup in a 95 hatch w/chipped p06 running a p30 base all chipped by Xeno. So after a while the Cel 21 just turned into a solid cel. I then unplugged the Vtec solenoid and there was the Cel21 again. The car runs great!! I don't think that whatever this cel is is causing any problems. Is there typically a reason why a solid cel comes up?? The only reason I have found searching is that it usually means the Ecu is bad, but in my case the car seems to run great. The SRS light is also on and blinks when I jump for Cels. Could this be the reason?? I'm totally stumped and I've searched like a **** to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Bad solder joint, but not likely from Chris. Pull on your wiring harness at the ECU. I found a loose wire like that.

I checked my wiring for the VTEC (the Solenoid power as well as the pressure switch) and they are good. I think the next step will be to try to find a set of EX wiring harness ends and solder them into my harness in place of my harness ends. that way the vtec wires will be hard wired. I know that I'm using the right plug, because I was getting a code for my IACV, and I realized that my plugs for the IACV and the Purge sensor were switched. After i fixed that, the VTEC Cels started, So I know that it is the right plug. Isn't the SRS plug the yellow one on the drivers side? CSaddict, I did take your advice from my last thread, but tugging on the wires didn't make the light go away. Thanks for your responses!
