rebuilt motor...solid cel?
I've got a problem with my car. I rebuilt my d16a6 with some internal goodies and everything is in the car and hooked up. Now my problem is the car will only crank over...no spark...no fuel. I tried to swap in a good main relay and no dice. The weird thing is when I turn the key to the on position the light will blink very fast and change pace and sometimes become solid, and sometimes even show nothing. I can't hear my fuel pump prime either. Does this sound like a faulty ecu, or could it be a sensor or messed-up wiring causing this.
oh yea...its a pm6 ecu.
Thanks guys. - Joe

Re:rebuilt motor...solid cel?
OMG!!! my car just started. thanks so much. I thought i checked over all the ground wires but sure enough the one on the thermostat housing wasn't even connected.
Now when i start the motor the idle jumps straight up to 3500 rpms and seems like it will keep going.
Is it bad to start a rebuilt motor and have it rev that high?
What could cause this?
Thanks!

Re:rebuilt motor...solid cel?
Yes code 7 will make the car idle high. I'm assuming the tps has been off the throttle body. Either do it the ghetto way and adjust it until the check engine light goes away or bust out the multimeter and do it right.
