I had a look at it today and i think i can do it, im just worried that when i take the standard cam gear out the belt might move off the bottom cam thingy or whatever its called and ---- the timing up.

Just turn it with a ratchet and a 17mm socket (or is it 19? cant remember) till the mark lines up. D's spin counter-clockwise. Dont spin it backwards. Easyest T-belt in the world to change. Dont worry it would take 2-3 teeth off on the cam gear before you MIGHT have clearance issues. Helmes is your friend. There are quite a few online sources for honda manuals now too.

On the standard cam gear there are 4 marks and they all look the same, what lines up with what?

Thats how I normally do it as well. But he's changing his cam-gear too, which leads to....

I never asked, why exactly are you changing the Gear out? Has your block been decked or your head been milled? Cam gears are a damn good way to lose power if you dont have a dyno to tune them on, or anything to tune with. Chances are what the gear says is 'zero' isnt what 'zero' would be on the stock gear. You cant really use it as a reference. Is your car boosted?
