1st Oil Change After Rebuild

1st Oil Change After Rebuild
I just changed my oil for the first time after a rebuild. The oil looked slightly milky. There isn't any oil in the coolant. Can the assembly lube make it look this way? I'm not getting any smoke either. I just hope there isn't a problem with the headgasket.
D16y8 and the oil change was done at 50 miles
Thanks for any help.

Re: 1st Oil Change After Rebuild
its probably just all the ---- running past your rings untill they got seated. Did you run it hard or just drive it like a grandma. I hope you beat it good fot the first 20 min. Lots of higher rpm lift on the throttle and let it engin break all the way down to 2500 rpms. Do that a bunch and your rings will seat awsome.

Thanks guys...
I didn't beat the ---- out of it but i didn't drive like a grandma either. I raised the rpm's a progressively and let the engine slow me down for a while. Drove normal but didn't let the engine rev steady. Then did a bit of "spirited" driving for the next 30 miles. Driving a low compression n/a d16 kicks *** :1

Condensation and mosture in the crankcase can cause it to be slightly milky. Perfectly normal on a new-ish engine of any kind.
Watch your coolant and oil levels to be sure you dont have a problem though.

sure you can do that. But you wont make as much power. You need to run in high vac alot.
