when i put on the b20 head with the way bigger intake ports, the powerband went from starting 3.5-4k to 5-5.5k
but it seems like it goes better up there. sucks waiting to get there with long gears

the car idles very normal. at 500-600rpm, heads not leaking. reve smoothly and sounds smooth. i'll turbo it soon. but i really want to get the head fixed first. my situation is like random strike but worst.. power kicks in at 4300 rpm. and when i try increasing fuel pressure to 40,45, and 50 psi and the car just gussle gass but is still pretty slow. trying to fine tune this sucker is a big hassle. the port job seems fine..
any other suggestions??
