It's not like the engine won't run above what the map reads, it just won't go into a new column after it reaches the max boost. You can run 20 on a stock sensor but anything over ~10 or 11 will have the same values as 20psi. People get away with a few pounds over by just richening up the last column and going a little rich before high boost

yesturday i had the bov ---- up and somehow backspun my turbo.....anyways the nut on the compressor wheel came off. And it completely Fucked my 60-1, the shaft was bent also....

Iunno how......i had a screen on the turbo
he said it had to be a backspin or somethin...

He completely rebuilt it today and charged me 350
Iunno if thats a good price here in memphis or not

but i just cant seem to find all the metal from the wheel??
my IC had little bits of fan blades The car ran fine except w\o boost
maybe i got luckY


comp. 180 160 150 150
time for rebuild?

ripoff like crazy on the rebuild. cheap bov's or too small vac line to bov = compressor surge.

Yeah man WTF my friend told me today a guy out on ms rebuilt his turbo for 150.

The guy sandbasted my ---- and replaced everything in the turbo, fan blades and all.
Plus polished my comp. housing

but still 300+dollers for a rebuild does sound way high......but im desperate and just got my car back on the road...
