Gsr, Found Little C clip in oil pan? PIC

Default Gsr, Found Little C clip in oil pan? PIC

Well i dropped the oil pan on my gsr to tap it for an oil line,

i found this C clip in the pan, the motor is stock, and i know that from the factory the wristpin is pressed in and there isnt a wristpin lock, as my first thought that it looked like a wrist pin lock,

but i dono what it is

Kinda hard to tell how big it is in the pic but i'd say it looks like some tread from yours oil drain that got stripped out?

Get a better picture,measure it and see if a magnet picks it up.

Well I think it is in his hand.

I would say part of a wrist-pin lock but they are stock like you said.

That could be anything. It doesn't look like a "clip" though.

ditto...does it look like it was machined or is it a part of a thread or something that got ripped off/stripped
