I didn't make single post on the internet on how to do my first swap. Just research beforehand.

Then just mess with it for a while. This isn't rocket science.

Re: My whole goddamn swap has gone to shit!!!
honestly.. what is your solution in installing an axle into a LS trans. It's got a pin on the end of the spline, and thats what keeps it from going in the intermediate shaft. You can't beat on it anywhere because you ---- up the end of the shaft.. or if you beat toward the inboard joint, you'll ---- the boot up. You tell me becuase i'm goddamn clueless

put the right end in the tranny(get it splined up)
put the other end in the nuckle use the nucke and the shaft to hammer it in pull the nuckle back a bit then ram forward, repeat this over and over and she will pop in |

Some things to think about: Sounds like the clip on the end of the stub shaft is what's hanging you up. Make damn sure that the clip is not bent or otherwise fucked up. Put some heavy grease on it to keep it centered on the shaft during installation, and line it up right before sliding the shaft into the trans. All of this is common sense ----. If you can't find a solution on your own, give up. You are not meant for this type of work. |
