LS/Vtec TECH

Re:the chronicles of projekteg and kyle (LS/Vtec fun)
crx88si, I almost shat myself when I saw you wrote "favour" because you canadians are so funny.
I have it easy with this LS/VTEC business, I already have a b16 head and my LS block will be here soon.

"Can I just use all of my LS OBD1 engine wires going to the throttle body, injectors, dizzy...ect?" and
"If I use the GSR head or B16 head, do I have to use the computer from that particular head?"
I want to do a VictorX intake with an overbored throttle body, do I have to use all of the vtec head and intake sensors or can I use the ones from my stock LS block?
I know you guys said just use an rpm activator switch or a VAFC, but if I use a vtec (GSR) ECU, how many extra wires do I have to run to the ECU? A chipped ECU and/or Zdyne is out of the question.

If you are planning on using GE dowel pins. You'll have to bore out the holes on the honda stock head gasket. Once you do this the Ge dowel pins will fit right over the head gasket. I just use a dremel with a grinding bit. Works great. It takes less than a minute to do both side of the head gasket.
But if you're gonna by the Ge dowel pin with their head gasket then no modification needs to be done. I'm building an lsvtec for my friend right now. Its sitting in my room. I'll take pics but its already assembled as of now.
The GE dowel pin is by far the easiet, cheapest, and best $25 spend. This is my second time around using an ob0 b16 head with b18a block. And the alignment of the head is perfect. It went on the block with ease. That's all for now :P

Re:LS/Vtec TECH
whats up guys i just have a couple of questions to ask. As of right now I have a stock NON Vtec B18A1 in my 89 hatch running the pr4 ecu. I am thinking of building a 2.0 Vtec motor. Do you guys think it would run well with stock timing/fuel maps from the PR4 and just use the VAFC for vtec control
but what about the knock sensor??
Correct me if I am wrong the PR4 has no pinout for a knock sensor and out of the 3 sensors on the 1990 B18A1 block is the green sensor on the block the knock sensor
well if it is, its not being used
