All the gasket are all remove, the black spots that showing there are just burnt mark.....

Just came back from the local wreck yard and I didn't have much luck there. I found a D16a6, but it has too much oil and dirt on it. Probably going to check out a local guy that's selling one for $150 w/ 134,000 miles on it....

 

why not just rebuild?

 

I wouldent rebuild that block with that much damage done to the walls .. dealing with oversized pistons and what not gets expensive.. might as well just get a used block for $150.

 

You don't think you can hone that out? I guess it's kinda hard to see how deep the grooves are in the pic, but it doesn't look too bad to me.

all you need is to re hone those sleeves, and new pistons

 

go with an overbore, and then get some new pistons and rings. Just drop the compression a little, so you can run more boost!

 

i got a d15 with the same ----, rings seized in the piston. get a new block man, here in OH you can get complete 1.5 for 200 out the door

 

i need a6 parts hit me up? :P
