dont disable it just relocate it. i made an adapter plate with fittings, then jut ran some vacuum lines to it. on goes to the intake, other to the intake manifild after the throttle body. no water lines are connected. works good.

hmmmmm, seems like an interesting idea. Did you just make a plate that bolts to the stock mounting holes and has some brass fittings or something where the ports in the iacv are?
and one vac line would go to the intake manifold and the other the intake tube? Would that be the pre turbo intake on a turbo car.. or can it be in the chargepipe?

one end would go before the throttle body, the other after, doesnt matter where, it just creates a " controlled vacuum leak" to adjust the idle, if you catch my drift. BTW, thats a really good idea, some OEM setups are like that, it has a idle control motor hooked up with hoses instead of being bolted to passages in the intake manifold. You get props on that one...very creative.

ok, so i plugged in a new supposedly working sensor and the cel still comes on after a while of driving. WTF i know it doesnt actually have to be hooked up and working to not throw a code.
