no. Unless you get a real scan tool like a snap on modis, blue streak BDM, or equlivalent. Those can tell you amazing things

No, it won't. OBD1+ sees it as a lean O2 and you get a stumble at cruise where the ECU tries to richen things up by throwing fuel at the "0 volts" it is getting from the O2.

how did the plugs look, what is your ignition timing. When did the problem start? was it after any repaiting done to the car?

or go to autozone rent a obdII scanner and see how everythign runs

Yeah taking out the o2 did definately richen things up, you could hear the difference. Didn't want to drive the car like that so plugged it back up. I'll probably wait and see how things go when I get the new injectors, ecu, cat, o2, etc installed, unless someone else has some ideas.
