what is better for overall power gain 4-2-1 or 4-1

4-1 for all out top end
4-2-1 for mid-range and not so much top end.

header gains are all in the collector size.

For a basic street set up any of the major brands dc,greddy are good quality have owned both. An-r or bisimoto for the big power gains with the nice collecters
