Default different intercooler styles

What are the general designs for intercoolers and their pros/cons.

I know there's "tube and fin" design, is that the best?

plate and fin, has its advantages to have the most contact area, but some guys opt for the extruded tube design..

it really depends on the internal fin design, some intercoolers have garbage insides, like volvo. while PWR has great inside fin design.

that has very good surface area.. while others dont.

I didn't get one, i seen it on ebay and they're in canada which was another bonus. Only things is, I've read their feedback and people said their intercoolers aren't good quality like the pictures show.

I'm only running 8psi on a b18b.

What design are the Tyrus intercoolers and are they better than the plate/fin design?

How about this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2444384889
It doesn't use plate/fin design, but I don't like how the bars between all the fins in the front are so large. What do you guys think?

That IC is junk IMO. Gat a CCA intercooler. You get what you pay for. www.speedpartsrus.com

My second choice after a CCA intercooler would be this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2443432300

Is it okay for the bars between the fins to be so large though?
