If I end up parting it out, i'll keep you in mind if you're really interested in it. block is suppose to only have like 60k on it w/ a new timing belt

thats major bs.....there is no ls block out there with only 60k.....even on the last gen integras......all ls's have atleast 100k.....

You're probably right, but there's no way to know the actual mileage and the previous owner told me it only had like 60k.. but that's coming from a guy that also told me the trans was good too.

didn't this guy also tell u there wasn't much left to be done to get it running...

Yeah I tried that. I also just went out.. fired it up.. put it in 3rd and went to take off.. thought i'd try to "work in" the tranny a bit.. grind some ---- up.. thought it might kick over into the 1st, 2nd rod but didn't.. it doesn't like 1st/2nd at ALL.. i was able to find 5th though.. but it doesn't like reverse at all. it completely rejects me of going into the 1st/2nd rod.. i put everythng i had into it and it was NOT going in there.
