Default any ideas on this ---- (92 accord)

this ----'s driving me crazy. 92 accord. when you're driving down the road after a few miles the abs light starts blinking and tach and speedo drop out and come back with the blinking abs. usually the car dies after everything drops out a few times and car won't start back up without a jump. broke out the voltmeter and everytime you shut the car off battery shows 10.5v at most and volts slowly keep dropping (bad battery) but running the alternator charges 14.2v. i put a good battery in and disconnect and probe neg cable and i'm still picking up the falling volts so i'm thinkin there's a short somewhere. left the cable probed and pulled every fuse (except srs) i could find under the dash and hood. nothing changed on voltmeter. the dying and gauge problem seems intermittent but happens everytime the car is driven. i can't think of anything else to try to pinpoint the problem short of throwing money at it and i don't want to do that. any ideas or anyone have a similar problem?

forgot to mention that the battery and alternator are less than 8 months old. they were replaced because of this same problem. and the brakes seem to grab and feels like you have to break them loose with movement before they release on the rear. (not my car) they're supposed to be checking out the brakes today. is there a sensor on the brakes that could have been damaged from metal-to-metal and shorting out? and someone recommended the ignition switch but only the abs light blinks so its not like start up lights.

Look for corrosion on teh batt cables, do you hear any noises coming through your stereo (if you have one)? You should hear alittle on am stations but it its a major sound that adjusts with rpms, check your grounds <-- notice i put a s and positive cables. Good luck. I don't know of any sensors on the brakes from those years. You probably have wheel cylenders leaking. Did the grabass go away after awhile of driving??
