Default Goin' Turbo

Okay my friend just gave me a turbo off, of an Eclipse, and I'm currently gettin' a custom monifold. I want my setup as simple as possible. I just want to turn on the car and know that I'm gettin my lil' 6-8lbs without a mission. I have a 96 DX, how can I reach this goal....

My best advice is to plop down in front of your puter and spend about 8hrs reading through the post's on here. Lots of good stuff.

Youll find that aside from getting together the hardware to mount the turbo and charge pipes etc... the major decision is on how you plan to fuel it.
Rising rate, 450's/AFC, TurboEdit ...etc....
Check out whats going on in the managment forum, good stuff there.

good luck

management is my biggest dilemma, I want to use TE, but I don't understand it. I'll probably go with an afc until I figure out TE. I also don't know which computer to use since I have a B16A. I've heard the pm6 has an rpm limit that hits before 8 and that the pr4 doesn't like civics very much.

96 civic dx is obd2. So unless you get a conversion harness and a obd1 ecu you are stuck w/ AFC and 450cc injectors.

for fuel I was gonna do the DSM injector plan, which I got from reading on the project section on this site, and I was planing to use an Integra fuel pump.
