h22 eg swap goin on tomorrow, any suggestions?
h22 tranny's are cable operated not a shift linkage. You will have to weld up the stock shifter hole and drill holes to mount the prelude shifter. Then you will need to cut a hole about 8" or whatever it is infront of the shifter for the cables... if you dont get this hole in a very accurate spot you're cables will snag.
a magazine i have at home has this swap tech article. PM me if you want me to look in it for an answer for something for you.

I pondered that I dea for a while.then I came to the conclusion thst its too much work.Yea you can get a front clip for 1800 plus shipping but its just too much work to put that in a Civic........good luck!
My friend did this swap in an EK, I wish I was there to help and learn a little, but he told me the hardest part was getting the huge engine in the car. He had to cut and bend a lot of stuff jus to get it to barely squeeze in there, breaking off his TPS in the process. It runs nice though, I drove it and I love it. He got Tein full coilovers to help with the understeer. I don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is.
step 1, dont be intimidated, its not hard
step 2 double check your work,
step 3 put on some good music
step 4 keep everything organized
step 5 have booze on hand in case of emergency
