I ble the diff out in my l3 tranny, and I suspect it was cause I was running low on fluid. I'm gona say that stock honda oil (10w30) is the best ---- to run, The race teams even run it. ;)

didnt say it wasnt, i was just saying how to temporarily fix, obviously any tranny grinding more than a fucked up shift is gonna need a rebuild or replacing anyways

You blew the diff out from doing too many one wheel peels.......the spider gears the eat through the diff pin, causing a explosion.........

Looks something like this.........you can see the broken diff pin in the lower right.........

yes the diff did explode on a 4500rpm full throttle launch, but I suspect it was cause I ran it low on oil for about 50 miles. It had a really really loud bearing noise, sounded worse then any wheel bearing I've ever seen, it was like that for about 5000 miles then it finally let go. pieces of the diff and tranny case are still inbeded in my frame 8)
