i would like how it goes im having similiar problem with my d15B vtec swap converted to obd1.
running P28 , with a D15b vtec ( VTI )with the VTI dizzy.
no spark haven't tested dizzy on another working motor...since there an't nobody with SOHC engines... that i know. :-(

Ok guys this happens alot on swaped engines. There are two (2) white wires that go to the dizzy. One is the igniter and ther other is some other random thing. Now if you get these switched this will result in no spark. Try that. It has work everytime a car doesn't start. I will check back and see if that was it tomarrow.

ok the twin cam run dizzy i figured it wasn't possible, but hey nothig is impossible.
CRXRX7 did that allready..Nada zero zip.. i though it was the 2 white wires... 02sensor and Crank sensor.
i did step by step continiuity check in that all wires when from the correct Pin to the right sensor location. even checked for voltage..this is where its funny.
1.15 volts and it drops as the engine is cranked over
this is good becuase that proved that igniter diode is good. ( does not mean the ignitor is good ) if it was 10 volts or more the ignitor diode is bad and you replaced the ignitor ( according to HMS Honda service manual)
now that i have cleared that the ECU can be at fault if there is no problem with the Crank trigger pick up circuit....which i don't know. until i test my stuff in Runing civic i wont know.
i did get funny readings of the coil and replaced that
still nothing i need a running civic for a guinie pig
only OBD1 may apply ( in the area of Seattle )
PS:my datsun is old ad gets SHITTY mileage 15.7mpg

well still no news on my ignition problem but i have eliminated the ECU.. to day....
its a p28 with chip in it... i bought off of ebay.. i made it switchable..stock/Chipped Mode. ( i fixed the exhisting switch. )
in stock mode sounds good. ( like stock ) but in chipped mode sounds like a grumpy old man. ready knock your teeth out.
the kid i got to test my ECU imeaditly offered to buy.. lol..i sadly i said "NO!".. feeling sorry for him i offered to sell him my P08 ECU ( that has a bad volt regulator ( after i repair of course ) and is unchipped. this will make more power and has higher rev limit.(8k)..( problem is geting them Voltage regulators )
i still need to test my Dizzy.. its starting to look like im going have to rewire my harness.

hey winston you cant use that si wire harness with the hs crx. Without modifications that is, the car wont even start, get the hf harness man

Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for the help and experience of your collective (sometimes argumentive) minds and helping me finish my project. I am happy to announce that the car is up and running. I just need with everything else...
