i have the O2s' both of them in the same exact spot they used to be. only now one of them is mounted on a 2 1/2" pipe that goes to the muffler(where the catalytic use to be) and one in the same spot it use to be at when it had headers, except now it's on the down pipe. I put more thought into this, and isn't the temp under the hood infront of the distributor (where the sensor's hanging) the same as the temp in the intake infront of the turbo (where the sensor could be mounted)? 
are you getting code 67? you need to either get an o2 simulator, or convert to obd1 to get rid of it. you can't just stick your secondary o2 in a test pipe and expect it not to throw a code.
