Re:ls confusion?
If you do a lot of driving on the freeway you might want the LS tranny but if you do a lot of city driving or racing the GSR tranny owns. Lots of people say LS vtec is unreliable but you can make them last longer with a Vtec oil pump and keeping the revs a little lower.

Re:ls confusion?
The whole unrelaible issue came about when people slapped vtec heads on old b18a/b blocks w/ well over 100k on them and starting reving them to 9k+. RPM's kill motors it's just how it is. If you build it right and dont mash on it every second it will last.

Re:ls confusion?
When you say LS you mean the 90-91 tranny S1 or the 92-93 ls tranny YS1.I have the YS1 and it makes my car feel slow after 4th gear.I just bought the S1 tranny and will install this weekend.this tranny has shorter gears.will be quicker than the YS1 tranny.

Re:ls confusion?
I have the S1 stock and am going to J1(JDM b16 cable) in the next few weeks...so if the S1 is already short geared, the J1 I'm putting in should be really nice I'm guessing...
