Default d16y7 Intake Air Temp Sensor

Ok I'm into my install. And when ripping off the stock airbox theres the sensor on the back of the box towards the top. How can I keep this from giving me a code once I'm boosted?

put it in the inlet pipe for the turbo unless you can figure out a way that doesnt leak boost and puit it in the charge pipe before teh TB.

Would the CEL put me in limp mode?

An IAT cel wont put you in limp.
For what its worth, Id put it in your intake pipe (after turbo).
Might as well let your ECU do its job and trim fueling based on actual intake air temps ehhh....

what you could do is JB weld it into the charge pipe right before the TB then cut the wire and put in a connector that can be disconnected whenever you need to remove the charge pipe. just an idea

So what could I use to secure it into the charge once I drill a hole?

Just go to Ace hardware or whatever with the sensor, and find a rubber grommet/washer that is pretty thick and allows only the inner diameter of the sensor to sit in it. drill a hole into the pipe closer to your intake manifold, WASH THE PIPE AFTERWARDS IN THE DISHWASHER (to make sure theres not going to be any metal getting in the engine) and then mesh it all into the pipe together shouldn't have a problem with leaking then.
