d16y8 intake manifold issues

Isn't the iacv on the bottom of the y8 throttle body? Just use that instead of tapping new holes on the back of manifold where there supposed to be. If you look at the back of the manifold you can see that the spot for it but it just needs to be drilled and tapped for the iac to go there. Just go and get the throttle body bored out and shave some headaches. I'm planning on doing a y8 mani onto my y7 head used in a 4thgen.
sorry.
I had a brain fart. I got a manual Y8 manifold and got it put on the begining of the week. I had to do away with the resistor box and that got rid of a lot of my miss but it still has some at low rpm. I'm still unsure about the charcoal canister and dashpot and purge whatever junk. Can someone elaborate on this please.

Here's something noone has brought up yet.....In mid-2000 honda added an air injection system to the IM. If you have it, there will be a nipple ON the IM flange between the #2 and #3 runners pointing straight up. this needs to be either hooked up or plugged up. It will cause your idle to be all whacked out if not dealt with.
