I'm trying to get my D16Z6 block up onto my engine stand and I need some bolts for it, but I have no idea what size they are. Anybody know?

 

headbolts work nicely for the bottomone

 

i thought they were 14mm? its been too long since i pulled a tranny.

 

I happen to have a few laying around, I can bring em over tomorrow if u want, now post ****!!

Thanks, after searching at every autoparts store in oshkosh with no luck. Everyone looked at me like I was asking for blinker fluid (dumbasses). So in the end I landed at the local hardware store and found them there. 3 12x1.25x60's and 1 12x1.25x100 with a bolt. $30 bucks is kinda steep, but oh well atleast I know where to go now.

 

I hope you didnt buy them, if you did keep you're reciept, i'll bring some over tomorrow.

I know advance has them in some bins they keep behind the counter, just go back there and start digging through them most of the employees there dont even know they exist

 

That is pretty steep. Place I go to for hardware sells really large carriage bolts for like $1.50 each, plus $0.25 or so for matching nuts. Maybe you should try somewhere else, or maybe you're looking at stainless hardware? Which is unnecessary.
