hey everyone this is my 1st post but i been reading since the old web site was around, right now im running a d-15b1, with mani port conversion, and a homemade turbo set up, turbo out of a non intercooled starion, not sure what turbo, but any way to my question, i got a good deal on a d15b2 complete engine(free) it has under 60k on it, i was think ing about doing a mini me on it, will a d16z6 head werk? what has to be done as far as wiring, and v-tec, will my current turbo set up werk on it? does that engine come with MPFI or will it have to be swapped?

d15b1, What car is this in? was this a HF motor? or what?

The Z6 head will bolt on any D15/D16 (but not the d16a1)

You should not have to swap intake manifold setups, you can keep your old one, or use the newer one. the z6 uses mpfi.

For engine management, again, what ecu are you running? what car? some people run the d16a1 pg7 ecu with a msd activated switch. or you can send your ecu to zdyne and get it configured for about 200 bucks (1 wire conversion) Or, you can rewire your engine bay for OBD1 and run the correct p28 ecu.

the engine is out of an 4th gen civic not sure what model, it hada 4 speed on it ?? im putting it in my 91 hatch this week, just blew my d15b2, with si 1.6 top end (or so i was told?) with MPFI, as far as ecu im not sure
