Doing that sets the geometry off of the drive axles. They lower it and will make the axles more prone to binding. If honda wanted the motor to sit lower they would have done that but then again if they wanted to do that they should have just put the ------ B16a stock in USDM CRX's damn lucky Japs. A JDM hood won't fit onto a USDM CRX with out the conversion (fenders, Headlights, Front bumper Etc....) But you could get a JDM "STYLE" Hood to fit on the USDM CRX. You also could just get a hood with a scoop or "bump".
